South West Wildlife Fundraising Ltd (SWWFL), working on behalf of WWT and wholly-owned by eight Wildlife Trust charities, is seeking passionate, patient, self-motivated, fun-loving, hard-working people with resilience and heaps of determination to join our expanding team across Worcestershire.
Role and responsibilities- To inspire members of the public to become supporters of Worcestershire Wildlife Trust by giving affordable monthly donations.
- Work at a wide variety of pre-booked venues and events including shows, events, garden centres, farmers markets, retail stores and corporate locations with full support of our branded marketing display to engage members of the public with confidence. (No street or door-to-door fundraising)
- Working pattern – 2/3 days a week to include weekend working.
- Valid driving licence and access to a car/van essential
- Experience of sales, fundraising ideal but full training will be given for the right candidate
- Outgoing and driven with the confidence to approach people to strike up a conversation
- Must be able to work at least one weekend day each week
- Love nature and wildlife and passionate about making a difference
- Enjoy working outdoors and at multiple sites
- Self-starter with a resilient “can-do” attitude
- IT proficient with great communication skills in both verbal and written English
- Motivated and driven to achieve and exceed targets
- Employed role - guaranteed base £13 per hour during the three-month probationary period or uncapped realistic commission - whichever is the greater amount over the pay month. Average earnings £30+ per hour for high performing recruiters.
- Temp contracts also available over the summer season
