We are currently seeking a reliable and flexible School Site Assistant / Site Supervisor to support a school site in Hindley (WN2) on a temporary ongoing basis.

Hours have not yet been fully confirmed and may potentially involve a split shift or a full working day. Shifts will fall between 7:00am and 6:00pm, Monday to Friday. Flexibility is essential to meet the needs of the school.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with previous site, caretaking, or maintenance experience who is available to start immediately.

• Assisting with unlocking and securing the school site
• Supporting with locking up at the end of the day
• Carrying out general site assistant duties
• Basic maintenance and minor repairs
• Supporting with health and safety checks
• Ensuring the premises remain clean, safe, and well-maintained
• Assisting with contractor access and supervision where required
• Providing general support to senior school staff

• Previous experience in a school caretaking, site assistant, or facilities role (desirable)
• Basic maintenance and DIY skills
• A flexible and proactive approach
• Good communication skills
• The ability to work independently and manage tasks effectively
• Strong awareness of health and safety procedures

• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one
• Availability for an immediate start
• Flexibility around working hours between 7:00am - 6:00pm
