THE EMPLOYER IS: BURNFOOT COMMUNITY ASSOCIATION The Maintenance and Cleaning Assistant will support the day to day operations of the community centre by ensuring that the building is clean, safe and well maintained. Working closely with staff and volunteers this role is essential in helping maintain a welcoming environment for service users and the public.
Responsibilities- Carry out regular cleaning of communal areas, toilets and meeting rooms.
- Setting up and clearing rooms for events, meetings and/or group activities.
- Performing routine maintenance tasks.
- Ensuring health and safety procedures are followed (e.g. fire exits are clear).
- Logging completed tasks.
- Ability to work independently and follow cleaning schedules.
- Experience in cleaning or maintenance.
- Experience working in a community or public setting.
