MOT Technician

We are recruiting for the position of Vehicle Technician and MOT Tester on behalf of our client, a well‑established independent garage located on the outskirts of Southampton. • Competitive salary up to £39,500, complemented by performance‑based bonuses

• Conduct servicing, diagnostics, repairs, and MOT testing on all vehicle makes and models
• Perform MOT testing in compliance with current regulations
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults using modern tools and diagnostic equipment
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure high standards of quality and safety
• Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of industry regulations and technological advancements
• Complete repairs and testing efficiently while maintaining excellent customer service

• NVQ/City & Guilds Level 3, or equivalent qualification
• MOT Tester qualification (essential)
• Experience with diagnostics and fault diagnosis
• Exceptional attention to detail and problem‑solving skills
• Full UK Driving Licence
• Strong team player with a positive attitude and professional approach
• Experience with in the motor trade, with a focus on quality and customer satisfaction, is highly desirable
