Are you a recent graduate looking to launch your career in Supply Chain, Purchasing or Procurement?
This is an exciting opportunity to join a well-established and growing product-based business, offering genuine career progression within a supportive and forward-thinking supply chain team.
This role is ideal for a graduate in Supply Chain Management, Business, Logistics, Operations, Economics or a related discipline, particularly someone who has gained exposure to purchasing, procurement or stock control through their studies, placements or internships.
You will gain hands-on experience across sourcing, supplier management, logistics coordination and stock planning, developing a strong commercial understanding of how an end-to-end supply chain operates.
The Role
• Support the sourcing and purchasing of components, raw materials and finished goods
• Liaise with suppliers to obtain quotations, negotiate pricing and track deliveries
• Raise and manage purchase orders, ensuring accuracy and timely processing
• Monitor stock levels and assist with forecasting and demand planning
• Work closely with logistics providers and production teams to ensure smooth operations
• Analyse supply chain data and update reports using Excel
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and cost efficiencies
About You
This role would suit someone who:
• Is degree educated (Supply Chain, Business, Logistics, Procurement or similar preferred)
• Has knowledge of supply chain principles, purchasing or procurement processes
• Has strong Excel and spreadsheet skills and is confident working with data
• Is analytical, organised and detail focused
• Is a confident communicator, comfortable liaising with suppliers and internal stakeholders
• Is commercially aware and keen to build a long-term career in supply chain
• Is proactive, adaptable and eager to learn in a fast-paced environment
