Solutions Architect

We're hiring a Solutions Architect to join a large, multi-site technology organisation with a strong Microsoft and Azure footprint. This role sits at the intersection of business change and technical delivery, shaping how platforms, integrations and applications are designed at scale.

The role offers flexible working, such as office attendance near to Brighton 1 day per month or based on business needs.

What You'll Do

• Design practical, end-to-end solutions across cloud, applications and integrations
• Provide architectural guidance to engineering teams from concept through to release
• Evaluate new tools and approaches, running proof-of-concepts where appropriate
• Work closely with delivery and senior stakeholders to turn requirements into technical designs

What You'll Need

• 5+ years' experience in software engineering, systems design or architecture
• Strong Azure and cloud-native design experience
• Solid understanding of APIs, integrations and distributed systems
• Experience with Dev Ops, CI/CD and modern delivery practices
• Comfortable influencing both technical teams and business stakeholders

Nice to Have

• Azure integration services, event-driven architectures, containers or IaC
• Experience contributing to architecture standards or governance
