Flexible (Inside IR35) Overview We are seeking an experienced SRE Consultant / Coach to support the transformation of an established technology operations function into a modern, product-aligned Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) and application support model . This role is suited to a senior SRE who is comfortable operating at both strategic and hands-on levels , embedding within teams to shape a clear target operating model and support the execution of change.

Key Responsibilities Assess the current operating model and define a clear SRE target state Design and support delivery of an SRE strategy and roadmap Embed SRE principles and best practices within product and engineering teams Coach and mentor engineers and technical leads to build long-term SRE capability Support the transition from traditional ITSM / ITIL-heavy processes to an application-focused support culture Act as an advocate for cultural change, ownership, and reliability-focused engineering Collaborate closely with onshore and offshore team members Required Experience Proven experience as a Site Reliability Engineer or SRE Consultant in complex environments Strong background working across multiple platforms and applications Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS and/or Azure) Solid understanding of Dev Ops practices , automation, and modern engineering ways of working Ability to influence teams and stakeholders and drive cultural change Comfortable embedding within teams and taking ownership of outcomes
