Job Description & How to Apply Below
Location: Harlestone
At Complii, we are seeking an experienced HR Business Partner to join our national People team. This pivotal role is ideal for someone who thrives in a high-growth, multi-entity environment and is passionate about partnering with senior leaders to influence, shape and deliver strategic people initiatives that drive organisational performance through significant change and development.
You’ll work collaboratively across the business, providing expert HR guidance and strategic insight while playing a central role in acquisition integration, harmonisation and culture development. This is a highly visible role requiring credibility, confidence and the ability to operate at pace while maintaining high professional standards. You’ll be supported by a proactive leadership team and a network of colleagues who value professionalism, partnership and excellence in people practice.
What you receive for joining us
We know that great people create great results, so we’re committed to providing a rewarding and supportive environment. In return, we offer a competitive salary of £50,000 – £60,000 per annum, plus benefits including 25 days’ holiday plus bank holidays, a 10% bonus, a car allowance, and an extra day off for your birthday.
You’ll also have access to continuous professional development, the opportunity to work on high-impact, organisation-wide strategic projects, and the chance to shape HR strategy at scale within a fast-growing organisation.
What you’ll be doing
Partner with senior leaders to develop and deliver people strategies that support business priorities, strengthen organisational capability and enhance performance across a multi-entity, multi-site environment
Lead harmonisation of people processes across acquired businesses, acting as a change leader to support acquisition integration, organisational design, transformation programmes and the development of a unified Complii operating model
Provide confident, pragmatic guidance on complex employee relations matters, investigations and risk management, supporting leaders to drive fair, consistent and commercially sound outcomes
Model and reinforce a high-performance HR culture built on professionalism, confidentiality, responsiveness and solution-driven support, operating effectively in a fast-moving environment with evolving structures and priorities
Support and continuously improve onboarding and employee lifecycle processes, ensuring compliance, data accuracy, cultural alignment and a consistent employee experience
Use HR data, insight and workforce intelligence to identify trends, inform decision-making and drive continuous improvement
What we’re looking for
At least five years’ experience operating as an HR Business Partner in a busy, change-driven environment, with strong commercial awareness
Proven experience supporting M&A activity and post-acquisition harmonisation, including people processes, HR systems and payroll transitions
Strong working knowledge of UK employment law, with confidence advising on complex employee relations cases and organisational risk
Experience working across multi-site or national operations
A professional HR qualification such as CIPD Level 5 or above would be advantageous
This is a national role with an expectation of regular travel to operational sites. If you feel you have the skills, resilience and drive to make a genuine impact, even if you don’t meet every requirement, we’d still love to hear from you.
