Housekeeping Team Member

Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and organisation within various settings, ensuring a high standard of hygiene and presentation. This role offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where customer satisfaction and attention to detail are paramount. Previous experience in janitorial services, hotel housekeeping, or commercial cleaning is advantageous, alongside skills in cooking and customer service.

• Clean and sanitise designated areas, including bedrooms, bathrooms and communal spaces
• Change bed linens and organise supplies as needed
• Ensure all surfaces are dust-free and floors are swept, mopped, or vacuumed to a high standard
• Restock toiletries, towels, and other amenities to meet guest or client expectations
• Assist with laundry duties including washing, drying, and folding linen and clothing
• Respond promptly to any cleaning requests or special instructions from management or clients
• Maintain health and safety standards throughout all cleaning activities
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing guest needs courteously and professionally

• Previous experience in hotel housekeeping, or commercial cleaning is preferred
• Strong customer service skills with a friendly and professional attitude
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining high standards of cleanliness
• Organised with excellent attention to detail
• Physical ability to perform cleaning duties including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
• Flexibility to work various shifts as required; weekend availability is advantageous
• A proactive approach to health and safety regulations within the workplace
