Columba House is a charming historic guest house located in the heart of the Cairngorms in Kingussie
. We welcome leisure guests, walkers, and touring visitors throughout the year and pride ourselves on offering a warm Highland welcome and a high standard of cleanliness and presentation. The property currently has 14 rooms which will be extended to 20 in the coming months.

We are looking for a reliable and detail-focused Part-Time Housekeeper to join our team at Columba House Hotel. The role involves ensuring guest rooms and public areas are maintained to a high standard of cleanliness and presentation.

Hours will vary depending on the season:

• Peak season: approximately 20 hours per week
• Low season: approximately 10 hours per week

Typical working days will include mornings and early afternoons, particularly around guest check-outs.

• Cleaning and preparing guest bedrooms and bathrooms to hotel standards
• Changing bed linen and towels
• Vacuuming, dusting, and sanitising rooms and corridors
• Cleaning public areas including lounges and hallways
• Replenishing guest supplies and amenities
• Reporting maintenance issues or lost propert

• Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience preferred (hotel experience an advantage)
• Good attention to detail and pride in maintaining high standards
• Ability to work independently and as part of a small team
• Reliable, punctual, and flexible with working hours
• Friendly attitude with respect for guest privacy
