As part of our supportive team, you will develop and grow into delivering a great service within the Grounds department. Alongside the Grounds Manager you will be a fundamental part of the smooth running of the guest journey from the moment each guest arrives.
By working together with a large diverse and multi‑skilled team, you will ensure all our guests enjoy the highest quality stay with beautiful views to look at wherever they are onsite.
What are we looking for?- Someone who can work independently to care for the maintenance of gardens, grounds and facilities surrounding the hotel to ensure they are showcased to their best in all seasons
- Able to use and maintain a range of equipment to include loose hand tools, strimmers, mowers, and ride‑on equipment
- All aspects of gardening work including digging, planting, mowing and basic tree care
- Be guest focused, always having a positive and problem‑solving attitude
- A people person who would put the guest journey at the heart of everything they do
- A willingness to learn and improve knowledge on cleanliness, hygiene, and our standards
- Someone who will care about the wider team and look to support wherever needed
- Previous experience as a gardener will help but not essential – mainly a willingness to learn about gardening covering a large area of ground
