We’re looking for Catering & Retail Assistants to join our friendly and dynamic team. As part of Plumpton College, One Garden Brighton is a unique destination that blends horticulture, heritage, and hospitality. Since opening in 2021, we’ve become a must-visit spot for locals and tourists alike.

What You’ll Be Doing:

Serving customers with a smile in our shop, bakery, and café

Preparing barista-style drinks and maintaining high food hygiene standards

Replenishing stock and ensuring our displays look fantastic

Supporting events and seasonal activities in the Walled Garden

Using EPOS tills and handling cash with care

Sharing your knowledge of our products, events, and ethos with visitors

Working closely with the wider team to deliver a seamless guest experience

What We’re Looking For:

Previous retail or hospitality experience (ideally in a visitor attraction)

Excellent communication and customer service skills

Barista training (preferred)

A team player with a proactive, can-do attitude

Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and evenings

Food hygiene and first aid qualifications (desirable)
