Salary: £38,000 - £40,000 per year (48-hour week over 5 days)

We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established, premium pub & restaurant in Wokingham for an experienced Assistant Manager / Deputy Manager. This is a key role, perfect for a manager with a passion for hospitality, team development, and operational excellence.

The role involves overseeing all aspects of food & beverage service, management, and training, supporting a team of 12, and working closely with senior management to deliver exceptional guest experiences and support business growth.

• Lead and support a team of 12 staff across restaurant and bar operations
• Ensure high standards of guest service and team engagement
• Deliver staff development, training, and ongoing feedback
• Oversee day-to-day operational performance and service standards
• Contribute to strategic initiatives and business growth
• Support sourcing and promoting premium British ingredients

• Experience managing a busy hospitality establishment
• Strong organisation, and problem-solving skills
• Passion for service excellence, food & beverage knowledge, and team development
• Proactive, and committed to long-term growth

• Salary: £38,000 - £40,000
