Concierge

Lochside House Hotel, Lodges & Spa

30-40 hours per week

Lochside House Hotel is looking for a warm, friendly, and engaging Concierge
to join our team and help ensure the smooth running of our hotel, lodges, and spa. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, ensuring they feel valued and providing them with an exceptional experience. We value personality and a passion for great service over previous experience as full training will be provided to the right candidate.

Set on the banks of Loch of the Lowes, with the Afton Hills as a backdrop, Lochside is a truly magnificent hotel. The incredible views of the surrounding Ayrshire countryside provide the hotel with an individuality that changes with the seasons. A warm and welcoming atmosphere awaits you at Lochside House Hotel Spa & Lodges, which sports wraparound terraces, landscaped gardens, ESPA luxury spa and renowned Afton restaurant.

Shift

Pattern:
  • Shifts are from 1:00 PM – 11:00 PM
    , on a two-week rotation
    .
  • Week 1:
    Monday, Tuesday, Saturday, and Sunday (ON).
  • Week 2:
    Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday (ON).
  • Additional hours will be available to cover holidays and absences.
What You'll Be Doing:
  • Welcome guests and assist them with luggage, escorting them to their rooms.
  • Perform lodge check-ins and provide outstanding customer service throughout their stay.
  • Maintain cleanliness and tidiness in all public areas, ensuring a welcoming environment.
  • Handle guest enquiries, answer phone calls, and provide information about hotel facilities, room service, and local amenities.
  • Carry out light maintenance tasks when needed.
  • Serve drinks to both residents and non-residents.
  • Prepare function rooms for service and events.
  • Support maintenance and reception team on any daily maintenance tasks including hot tubs
What We're Looking For:
  • A full UK driver’s license is essential, and you must be over 25 due to vehicle insurance.
  • Friendly, approachable, and committed to excellent customer service.
  • Reliable, punctual, and trustworthy.
  • Able to work well both independently and as part of a team.
  • Flexibility to take on additional responsibilities when needed.
  • Any maintenance or DIY experience is beneficial
