OverviewWe have a great opportunity for a Night Porter who will be the main point of contact for guests during the night, with variable hours available. You will receive discretionary service charge and tips that can increase your pay up to £3000 per annum.
You will work at the prestigious 4AA Red Star Country House, the Cavendish Hotel. As the first and last person guests meet, your exemplary customer‑care standards will set the tone for the entire hotel, ensuring guests receive end‑to‑end first‑rate, friendly and efficient service.
Responsibilities- Answer telephone calls, check guests in and out efficiently, process guest administration, handle payment transactions, answer customer enquiries and ensure public areas are presented to a high standard.
- Prioritise workload to respond to guest needs as efficiently as possible while maintaining an organised, methodical approach.
This is a part‑time position with flexibility essential to work varied shifts that include Joyce weekend, bank holidays, early starts and later finishes; generally аген 7 am to 3 30 pm or 3 pm to 11 pm.
Qualifications & Experience- Excellent communicator with proficient IT skills and prior experience handling administration.
- Experience with a hotel reservation system (e.gанд Rezlynx or Resdiary) desirable.
- Awareness of industry standards and knowledge of the local area are desirable attributes.
- Previous experience within a similar role desirable.
- Formal qualifications such as an apprenticeship or NVQ advantageous.
