F&B Operations Manager at Haulfryn

Salary: £45,000 per annum
Hours: 40 hours per week

Are you an experienced and passionate hospitality professional with a flair for leadership and a love for great food? We’re looking for a Food & Beverage Operations Manager to join our team at The Warren Holiday Resort
, Haulfryn’s flagship luxury destination in beautiful Abersoch. This hands‑on role is ideal for a confident and motivated professional who thrives in a fast‑paced environment and takes pride in delivering outstanding service. You’ll oversee food preparation, presentation and service across our resort, ensuring exceptional quality, smooth operations and a happy, supported team.

- Oversee all aspects of food operations, ensuring top‑quality presentation and service.
- Lead, mentor, and inspire chefs and team members to deliver consistently high standards.
- Support menu creation and development to ensure variety, creativity, and profitability.
- Manage food inventory, ordering, and cost controls effectively.
- Maintain exceptional standards of food hygiene and health & safety.
- Foster a positive and professional working culture that supports and develops your team.
- Balance operational involvement with administrative and compliance responsibilities.
- Deputise for the Head of Food & Beverage when required.
- Proven experience in a food and beverage leadership role.
- Recognised qualification in hospitality, catering, or culinary arts (e.g. City & Guilds, BTEC, HND).
- Health & Safety and Food Hygiene certification (or willingness to obtain).
- Strong leadership and organisational skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent cooking knowledge and understanding of all kitchen operations.
- Clear communicator with enthusiasm, initiative and a professional, approachable manner.
- Passionate about developing your own skills and supporting others to grow.
- Flexible and adaptable, with a proactive approach to problem‑solving.
