We are looking for a Kitchen Assistant to join our team at Sandymouth Holiday Resort in Bude, Cornwall. Hourly rate £12.21. This is a seasonal position to work part time hours. This will be 30 hours across variable days which 5 will include evenings, weekends and bank holidays. Flexibility is essential to suit the needs of the business.

• Take on a range of kitchen responsibilities.
• Pot washing.
• Collect, clean and replenish all crockery and kitchen utensils in a prompt and efficient manner.
• Assist the kitchen team with preparation of various food dishes.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene throughout the kitchen.
• Work with the Head Chef to assist with responsibility of various aspects within the kitchen.
• Prepare fresh ingredients including dough, and cook and serve quality pizza from our external wood fired oven.

Some previous experience within a busy kitchen environment is desired. Catering qualifications and Level 3 Food Safety are desirable but not essential. A driving licence and ability to drive is an advantage to enable easy travel to and from the retreat.
