Arbroath Infirmary – MFE Ward Band 6 Charge Nurse
£41,608 - £50,702 per annum pro rata
Permanent – FULL TIME / PART TIME
With effect from 01 April 2026, NHS Scotland is reducing its full time working week from 37 to 36 hours per week, there will be no change in full time pay.
A permanent vacancy has arisen for a Band 6 Charge Nurse. This post is based at Arbroath Infirmary inpatient ward, caring for a wide variety of patients with wide ranging health care needs to include rehabilitation, step down from acute hospitals, palliative care and long term conditions. There may be occasions where you could be required to cover in Whitehills - Clova/Isla wards.
We are looking for an individual who is forward thinking, with excellent communication skills, with a passion to drive improvements to join the team within our 21-bedded ward. Also covering a medicine for the elderly day treatment and day hospital service is also delivered within the unit. The successful applicant will work closely with the multidisciplinary team who are dedicated to delivering safe and effective person centred care and rehabilitation.
Applicants will demonstrate the ability to assess, plan and implement care for our patient group, including older people.
This is an exciting opportunity, as we implement new models of care within the ward that will support the delivery of high quality; person centred safe and effective patient care.
You must be registered on Sub-part 1: RN1/RNA/Sub–part 2; RN2 or Sub-part 1: RN3 /Sub-part 2: RN3 of the NMC Register
