An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join our Community Therapy Team as aRehabilitation Therapy Assistant. As a vital part of our multi-disciplinary team, you will contribute to delivering a patient-centred rehabilitation service, working closely with occupational therapists, physiotherapists, and other healthcare professionals. Responsibilities
  • Deliver rehabilitation through therapy interventions, which may include support with personal care tasks, cognition, and mobility
  • Carry out rehabilitation plans as delegated by occupational therapists and physiotherapists.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and communicate effectively with service users, families, and the therapy team.
  • Be flexible to support the team during peak service times.
  • Participate in the 7-day service rota, including weekends, delivering rehabilitation between 8 am and 8 pm.
Qualifications
  • Passionate about patient care and rehabilitation.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
  • Organised with good time management skills.
  • Experience in a healthcare or therapy setting is desirable but not essential.
