This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference within a well-respected Housing team.

About the Role

As a Sheltered Housing Officer, you will take responsibility for the day‑to‑day running of high‑quality sheltered housing schemes, ensuring the buildings remain safe, secure, and well‑maintained. • Work closely with adult social care, healthcare providers, voluntary organisations, and other partners to ensure resident safety.
  • Organise community activities and resident meetings to increase engagement and build community spirit.
  • Maximise rent and service charge income through early intervention on arrears.
  • Empower residents to get involved in shaping and improving the service.
  • Carry out health & safety and fire safety checks in accordance with statutory landlord requirements.
  • Manage the sign‑up process for new tenants and support with pre‑void inspections.
  • Handle low‑level ASB issues and elevate when required.
About You Essential Experience

  • Experience managing health & safety and fire safety within a supported housing setting.
  • Confident handling emergencies and managing conflict sensitively and effectively.
  • Access to transport and a valid UK driving licence.
