Position Overview

11424 - 20 hour - Trainee Pharmacy Assistant – Permanent Contract

We are looking to recruit a 20‑hour Trainee Pharmacy Assistant on a permanent contract to work at our 510‑branch located at Cleator Moor Health Centre, Birks Road, Cleator Moor, CA25 5HP
.

Tuesday 14:00-18:00
Wednesday 14:00-18:00
Thursday 14:00-18:00
Friday 14:00-18:00

Duties will include the accurate dispensing and labelling of prescription items under guidance and supervision from the Pharmacist. The successful candidate will also be responsible for assisting with the ordering and management of stock levels within the dispensary and the shop.

The utmost attention to detail is required in this role along with the ability to work under pressure and to strict deadlines. You will also need a desire to learn and progress your career in our business.

The successful candidate must have great people skills, as this is paramount to your role. You will be required to work as part of a well‑established team and ensure our customers receive a high standard of service.

This position is ideally suited to someone with previous customer service experience who is willing to undertake the relevant training courses in order to progress. The role offers the opportunity to gain a recognised Counter Course and NVQ level 2 qualification in Dispensing.
