Job Summary:

CC Care is seeking compassionate and reliable Personal Assistants (PAs) to support a friendly, outgoing woman with physical disabilities in Kilsyth. This part‑time role offers £14.60/hour, with permanent and fixed‑term contracts available.

The successful candidate will assist with personal care, medication, daily living tasks, and community activities, helping her enjoy life to the fullest at home and in the community.

• Schedule: 24 hours per week (2‑week rolling rota, covering day and night shifts)
• Shift Options:
  • Night shift: 8:00pm–8:00am (12 hours)
  • Day shifts available (with flexibility)
  • Overtime available to cover team absences

The role involves assisting with personal care, medication via PEG, meal preparation, mobility support, and household tasks. You’ll also accompany her on community activities, shopping trips, and walks with her dog. Each day is varied, with opportunities to build a supportive and trusting relationship.

• Attend to personal care needs
• Assist with medication (PEG feeding, 4 times daily)
• Prepare meals and healthy snacks
• Support mobility (manual wheelchair assistance)
• Household shopping and prescription collection
• Encourage involvement in community activities
• Accompany walks with her dog
• Promote independence and wellbeing
• Provide enthusiasm, motivation, and companionship

Essential:

• Warm, friendly, and approachable nature
• Good interpersonal and communication skills
• Comfortable working with pets (dog in household)
• Full UK driving licence (own vehicle or mobility vehicle provided; mileage allowance paid)
• Reliability, flexibility, and commitment to caring role

Preferred:

• Relevant care/support experience (training provided if not)
