Location: Girvan

Ainslie Manor is a 43 bed registered care home offering residential and nursing care for the elderly. We are situated outside Girvan on the coast with views of Ailsa Craig and Arran.

We are looking to recruit a care home manager, ideally with previous home managers experience.
Responsibilities:

- * Ensure the delivery of quality of care by continually assessing our residents needs and wishes, auditing and reviewing care plans, and overseeing the staff teams.

* To effectively manage the service, following all requirements and regulations, legislation, updates and company policies and procedures

* To support all members of staff in their training and development; and in their delivery of our services. This will include conducting regular supervisions, observations and appraisals as well as handing potential disciplinary matters should they arise.

* Continued assessment and auditing of the service to ensure a sustainability of standards delivered to residents. This will include conducting internal medication audits, monthly care home audits and environmental audits.

* Holding regular meetings with residents, families/friends of residents and staff. Documenting these meetings.

* Creation of detailed action plans following visits, meetings or reports.

* Handling enquiries made to the home, promoting the service to any prospective clients or external bodies.
You:

- * We are looking for someone with strong leadership skills with the ability to effectively supervise a team.

* Hold a relevant Level 7 qualification (e.g., SVQ in Social Services and Social Services or a nursing/social work qualification).

* Must also hold a recognized management qualification (often SCQF Level 9 or equivalent).

* Knowledge of care plans, dementia care, and medication administration.

* Familiarity with Nursing Home regulations and best practices
