Domestic Assistant

Clean and maintain all areas of the Home to a high standard, and service laundry in the Home.

• Participate in staff meetings and mandatory training as required.
• Complete daily laundry duties in a safe and efficient manner.
• Replenish soaps, hand towels, toilet rolls as required.
• Collect daily waste from the residents' bedrooms and all areas of the Home and collect clinical waste bags and put into relevant waste container.
• Clean all prescribed areas in accordance with daily, weekly and monthly cleaning schedules, including all floors, carpets, furnishings, fixtures, fittings, paintwork, doors etc with the equipment and chemicals supplied by the Home.

• Ability to communicate effectively at all levels
• Ability to work as part of a team
• Ability to work using own initiative
• Previous experience in a similar role would be an advantage but not necessary
