Optical Assistant​/Receptionist

Cecil Amey Opticians and Hearing Care are recruiting for a full time or part time Optical Assistant/Receptionist to join our team in Wymondham. The principal aspects of the Optical Assistant role are:

· Meet and greet patients and assist with enquiries.

· Take phone calls and manage appointments.

· Operate the cash till, cheques, and electronic payments.

· Maintain all required databases and records.

· Undertake minor adjustments or repairs to spectacles as required.

· Pre-screen patients: eye pressure check, visual field test and OCT.

· Good telephone manner, smart appearance and good interpersonal skills are a necessity.

· Previous optical receptionist experience would be valued.
