We are a rural practice based in Bala, North Wales, committed to delivering high quality care to our 4,600 patients.
Main duties of the jobThe Practice Manager is responsible for the overall running of the practice and will provide strong leadership to ensure the successful provision of high‑quality services to the local community. Responsibilities include administration of staff, developing skills within the team and leading the practice’s growth and improvement. The manager will oversee attainment of targets in relation to GMS/GP contractual obligations, supervise submission of monthly claims to the Primary Care Contracting Team, liaise with the practice accountant to manage accounts and day‑to‑day spending, and be accountable for Health and Safety, Clinical and Information Governance and GDPR.
Excellent communication with staff, GP partners and patients as well as IT competency are essential.
Highly regarded, stable and friendly dispensing GP practice of three whole‑time equivalent partners using EMIS, with a list size of 4,800 based in a H/B‑owned health centre and excellent close working relationships with a wide range of onsite‑based community services.

We are looking for an enthusiastic, resourceful and high‑achieving individual to lead our friendly team in collaboration with our GP partners. This is a permanent full‑time post (37.5 hours per week), Monday to Friday; part‑time applications will also be considered.
Competitive salary dependent on skills and experience.
We are open to applications from all sectors; managerial experience with the NHS is preferred, but not essential.
