Hours per week:
Every Saturday afternoon 1pm-4pm (some flexibility). Plus: 6 hours 8am-2pm one day each week of the school holidays (13 weeks). The hours are available as one role or can be split into term time role and school holiday role. Please state your preference on application. Rate of pay: £14.50 per hour.

I am a young man of 11 years old, in the Glan Conwy area who has autism and learning difficulties. I am looking for a kind, patient support worker who is reliable to accompany me on trips out and about, engaging in fun activities, the park and beach as well as other activities to encourage my social interaction, whilst maintaining constant supervision to ensure my safety.

I may need some personal care, and assistance with food and drinks is required. You will be using your own car to transport the client, so you will need a full driver’s licence and business cover on your car insurance and proof of business insurance cover and valid MOT will need to be shown to your employer.

• Overall care of the young man, whilst maintaining constant supervision to ensure his comfort and safety at all times.
• Personal care, including helping him to the toilet and maintaining his hygiene in a dignified manner.
• Preparing and giving snacks & drinks, and ensuring safety while eating and drinking.
• Playing and talking with him and engaging in fun activities.
• Driving him to trips out and about, taking him to places such as the beach, park, etc., according to his needs and interests.
• Any other duties not mentioned but that fall within the scope of this role should be discussed and then mutually agreed.
• Undertake any further training, as mutually agreed.

• The role is dependent upon a DBS and 2 references.
