Salaried GP – Part‑Time, Permanent

Location: Drumnadrochit, Highlands – just 15 miles from Inverness.

Hours: 34.5 hours per week (part‑time, permanent).

Salary scale: £102,168 – £115,167 per annum (pro‑rata).

The practice has three full‑time GPs (76.5 WTE) plus this vacant post. A full administrative team supports a population of ~2,600 patients. The team includes a Practice Nurse, a Health Care Assistant, a Practice Pharmacist, a First Contact Physiotherapist, a Community Mental Health worker, a Community Link Worker, a visiting Podiatrist and a Midwife. The adjacent pharmacy provides additional support.

The premises were purpose‑built in 2015 and offer modern, spacious accommodation. GP duties mix consulting and administrative tasks. Appointment methods are hybrid – 15‑minute face‑to‑face, telephone and home visits. The rota includes morning and afternoon duty doctor sessions; occasional full‑day duty may be required due to GP leave. There is no out‑of‑hours commitment. The practice population extends along Glen Urquhart and the Great Glen.

Regular GP meetings, practice meetings for the whole team and a quality‑lead link into the Black Isle Corridor Cluster are held. Salaried GPs are expected to take an active role in practice development, quality improvement and clinical governance. The Patient Participation Group meets regularly.

The clinical system is Vision Hosted;
Docman receives electronic results and secondary‑care letters. The practice runs on Windows 10.
