Support Worker – Sherbourne

We are looking for a Support worker required to work with a 60-year-old gentleman living on his own in the Sherbourne area. Our client was involved in a road traffic accident in 2014 which resulted in an acquired brain injury.

Deliver domestic support, assist with hydrotherapy, social and leisure outings, and enable him to be as independent as possible. Provide support to attend a small antiques sales unit, work on restorations, and care for two pet whippets during the day.

• NVQ Level 2 (or equivalent) in care desirable.
• Competent IT skills desirable.
• Previous experience essential.
• Full driving licence essential. Access to client’s vehicle will be available.

21 hours per week on a flexible basis to cover a 24/7 rota.

• £12.21 per hour Weekdays
• £13.94 Weekends
• £13.94 Waking Nights weekday
• £16.68 Waking Nights weekend
• £11.04 Sleep weekday
• £12.20 Sleep weekend
• £25 per 12 hour on call shift
• Bank Holidays – Double Time

This position requires a fully enhanced disclosure request from the DBS. You will also be required to register with the DBS Update Service.
