Location: Beith
Overview
We're looking for part‑time colleagues (16 or 20 hours) to support a young man with Autism who lives independently in Beith.
ResponsibilitiesAs a Support Practitioner you will provide assistance with daily living activities such as shopping, finances, cooking, housework and personal care. You will also encourage the young man to engage in recreational activities, including playing golf, going to the arcade and taking walks around the local community.
Qualifications- A caring and compassionate attitude
- Active listening skills
- Excellent communication skills
- A positive approach to learning
- Confidence in the use of computers
- A full UK driving license with at least one year of driving experience
The role currently falls into two shift patterns: 1000–1400 hours the next day (includes a sleepover) or 1000–1000 hours the next day (includes a sleepover).
