Position

An opportunity has arisen for a Dietitian based at University Hospital Crosshouse.

What You Will Do

We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Dietitian to join our busy acute adult team based at University Hospital Crosshouse. The team, comprising dietitians and dietetic assistant practitioners, work together to provide effective dietetic care to 21 in patient wards, working to national and local targets and drivers. You will have responsibility for the day to day management of your own caseload and will be supported to be a core contributor to the department’s shared caseload.

By operating a partly shared team caseload we are able to offer excellent opportunities for clinical supervision and shadowing in a wide range of clinical areas. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work towards the completion of Flying Start and dependent on experience, take part in our practice placement programme supporting student practitioners on A,B and C placements.

Knowledge, Training And/or Experience Required To Do The Job

You should possess an honours degree/postgraduate diploma in Nutrition and Dietetics and be registered with the Health and Care Professions Council. Experience in acute dietetics would be an advantage. Evidence of competencies and skills required to deliver this post is essential e.g. excellent time management, organisational skills, self-motivation and good interpersonal skills.

37 per week.
