Hours:
Days 33 Hours per week, working weekends on rota (Shift Times 07:00 - 19:00)
The Grove is a well-established part of the community in Waltham and a well-respected care home in the Grimsby area, it provides residential and specialist dementia care in a warm, family‑led setting. The dedicated staff led by the Manager understand that everyone is different and take time in getting to know each resident individually, so they can settle into a comforting, enjoyable routine.

Within your role as a Senior Care Assistant, you can really make a difference to our residents’ lives. Your responsibilities will include:
- Aiding residents emotional well‑being and social needs
- Administration and monitoring of medications to residents.
- Supporting residents at meals time
- Mentor & assist new employees.
- Implement, monitor and review care plans to meet residents specific needs.
- Plan, allocate & supervise the work of the team of care assistants

- Experience as a Senior Care Assistant & leading a team.
- Be no stranger to working night shifts
- Have a friendly & caring attitude.
- Able to engage well with the residents and their families
- Have an understanding of people with Dementia
- NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social care or willing to work towards this.
- Great communication skills, both written & verbal.
