As a Dispenser in one of our Boots stores, you will be a key member Namen bullet List...ing the pharmacist and other healthcare professionals to ensure the safe and efficient delivery of pharmacy and healthcare services. You will build relationships with customers, dispense prescriptions, and offer advice using your healthcare knowledge – supporting patients in making informed decisions about their health and wellbeing.
Key Responsibilities- Dispense prescriptions while ensuring the safe supply of medicines – ordering, labelling, dispensing, endorsing and collecting prescriptions.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals in the store to manage and deliver pharmacy services.
- Provide care and advice to patients about medicines grounding in clinical knowledge, and refer queries to the pharmacist as appropriate.
- Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) to support the safe and legal dispensing of prescription medicines.
- Keep up to date with new innovations in the shop and comply with operational processes.
- Support patients to manage their prescriptions their way with reliable repeats, promoting adherence and reducing waste podria.
