An opportunity has arisen for a full‑time Clerical Officer to join the admin team at Cowal Community Hospital in Dunoon. We are looking for enthusiastic, confident, experienced and self‑motivated individuals who can work as part of a team. Excellent communication, organisational and keyboard skills are required.
You will have a calm and pleasant manner, be well organised and able to work on your own initiative.
You will have a good educational background with proven work experience in a similar role. The ability to work well under pressure and a flexible approach to the needs of the department are essential.
You should have typing skills to the equivalent of ECDL/SVQ
2. Knowledge of medical terminology and previous NHS experience are desirable but not necessary. Induction, training, support and supervision will be provided.
- Effective from 1st April 2026, the Agenda for Change full‑time working week will be reduced from 37 to 36 hours. Part‑time hours will be adjusted on a pro‑rata basis. There will be an increase in the hourly rate to ensure that pay remains unaffected.
