Job Description

We would like to invite you to join our highly motivated and friendly Midwifery team. We are committed to providing high quality, family‑centred care.

As a Registered Midwife you will provide holistic midwifery care to women/birthing people and babies during antenatal, intrapartum and postnatal periods across hospital, birth centre, day assessment unit, maternity triage and transitional care unit settings.

The role involves shift working including night duty and on‑call. Successful applicants will receive an orientation programme and ongoing support from a dedicated Preceptorship Lead Midwife.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver holistic midwifery care to women/birthing people and babies during all stages of maternity care.
  • Work across a range of maternity settings – hospital, birth centre, day assessment unit, triage and transitional care units.
  • Participate in shift work, including night duty and on‑call requirements.
  • Engage with families to provide gold‑standard, family‑centred care and support.
Qualifications & Requirements
  • Fully registered midwife (Band 5 or 6).
  • Experience or newly qualified with a dedication to kindness, compassion and gold‑standard care.
  • Self‑motivated, dynamic, professional with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
