Shift Leader - Part-time; Urray House

Overview

We are looking for a Shift Leader who is dedicated to making every moment count. This role is part-time (20.56 hours per week) and permanent, with a days rotational schedule that includes weekends. The role is based at Urray House Care Home, Muir of Ord, a Highland village near Inverness and Dingwall.

Hourly Rate: £15.50

Successful candidates will have completed SVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care (including the Medication Administration unit).

• To support the care, protection, and wellbeing of all residents by treating them with respect and dignity, assisting with their protection and promoting their independence.
• Report, record, and address issues related to staff, residents, relatives, or visitors, while managing staff schedules and supporting care staff.
• Contribute to residents’ care planning and reviews, administer and monitor medication, and maintain accurate records.
• Assist with physiological measurements, oversee safety and security in the workplace, and promote health and safety practices.
• Support residents and families during palliative care and bereavement, attend training to enhance skills, monitor residents’ nutrition, and work within Parklands’ Quality Management System (Q.M.S). Participation in mandatory training is required.
