Overview
The Council is seeking to appoint a part time (4 days a week) permanent Licensing and Regulatory Enforcement Officer to support the Licensing team within Regulatory Services. The successful candidate will undertake a range of technical and administrative duties in relation to our specialist licensing services. As a member of a team, you will contribute to the delivery of the licensing enforcement programme and respond to complaints and other requests for services.
Responsibilities- Provide an excellent quality service to all customers, meeting targets and performance standards to achieve high standards of service delivery.
- Carry out inspections and investigations (both during office hours at weekends and evenings as required) and undertake other relevant activities in relation to licensing matters.
- Provide advice as required, communicate effectively both verbally and in writing, maintain accurate records, draft reports and deal with correspondence.
- Have a full driving licence and access to a vehicle for work purposes.
- Be able to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
