A long-established, privately owned UK fresh produce and farming business is seeking to appoint a Commercial Finance Director at a pivotal stage of its growth.

Operating at c.£25m turnover and supplying major blue-chip customers, the business has a strong reputation for quality, sustainability and innovation. With significant investment and expansion initiatives underway, this newly created role will strengthen commercial insight and financial leadership at senior level.

Working closely with ownership, the CFO and COO, this is a commercially focused leadership position - not a pure reporting role.

You will:

• Lead commercial and financial analysis to support strategic decision-making
• Evaluate major capital investment and infrastructure projects
• Develop robust financial models and scenario planning
• Provide constructive challenge and support to senior stakeholders
• Strengthen governance, accountability and financial discipline
• Support and mentor the existing finance team

• Qualified accountants (ACA / ACCA / CIMA)
• Senior finance professionals ready to step into their first FD role
• Established Finance Directors seeking a hands-on, influential position within a growing family-owned business

You will bring strong commercial acumen, experience in complex or asset-heavy environments, and the confidence to operate in an owner-managed setting.
