We are recruiting for a Management Accountant to join us here at Octavius for a 12 month maternity cover. The role will be based out of our site office in Winchester or could be based at our head office in Reigate.
We are a leading civil engineering organisation delivering safe, sustainable, and efficient transport solutions across the UK.
The Management Accountant is responsible for assisting in the production and review of month‑end management reporting packs, always ensuring the information provided is on time, accurate and well considered.

You'll work with a team of highly motivated, dedicated professionals delivering financial support to a business working on projects across a variety of frameworks and clients.
Proactive in learning new skills and understanding processes.
- Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret financial data.
- Strong organisational and time management abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration.
- Ability to work well within a team and contribute to a positive work environment.
- Good understanding of ERP systems (ideally Coins or similar).
- Comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft products, particularly Excel.
- AAT Qualified / Similar Qualification – Desirable (will consider part qualified).
- Trainee CIMA, ACA or ACCA – Desirable.
- General knowledge of construction, infrastructure or related sectors – Desirable.
