Finance Officer

Our clientis seeking a Finance Officer to join their friendly and dedicated finance team.

This role is ideal for a detail-oriented individual who enjoys maintaining accurate financial records and supporting operational efficiency within a values-driven environment. Working closely with the Finance Manager and Head of Finance, you'll help ensure that theincome, expenditure, and funds are accurately recorded and compliant with accounting standards.

• Carrying out daily reconciliations between Xero and multiple bank accounts
• Managing the credit card expense process, ensuring all receipts are collected and posted accurately
• Raising monthly invoices for completed work and reviewing invoices prepared by others when required
• Maintaining a clean accounts receivable ledger, chasing debts promptly to minimise overdue balances
• Managing the accounts payable ledger, processing invoices and expenses, and running weekly payments
• Monitoring the finance inbox, responding to queries in a timely and professional manner

• Previous experience in a finance or accounts role
• Confident using Xero or similar accounting software
• Strong attention to detail with excellent reconciliation and ledger management skills

• 22 days holiday + BH (FTE)
• AAT study support if required
• 24 - 26hours a week (fully office based)
• Salary dependent on experience
