Location: Swindon

We are looking for a detail-driven and collaborative professional to support the advice-checking of ongoing servicing advice across The Openwork Partnership. You will play a key role in ensuring advice meets current regulatory standards and Openwork's COB Suitable Advice Framework, while providing constructive, high-quality feedback to advisers.

This role requires a confident communicator who can review advice documentation thoroughly, identify areas for improvement, and support advisers in delivering suitable client outcomes.

This is a hybrid role, 3 days a week in the Swindon office.

Key Accountabilities:
  • Review ongoing servicing advice, Case Advice, Documentation Suitability Reports and Annual Reviews to ensure compliance with current regulation and Openwork's Suitable Advice Framework, applying an accurate, effective and fair approach.
  • Provide clear, constructive feedback to advisers, including suggested improvements where necessary, and support them in meeting suitability requirements.
  • Proactively manage an individual pipeline of cases, ensuring all work is completed compliantly and within agreed service level agreements.
  • Work collaboratively across the partnership to ensure Financial Advisers' requirements are met, enabling them to deliver suitable advice.
  • Identify, champion and contribute to improvements in team processes and procedures.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key internal and external stakeholders, providing advice and technical guidance as required.
  • Regularly follow up with advisers and/or providers to resolve outstanding requirements.
  • Promote teamwork across Operations and the wider Network.
What will you need to succeed?

Qualifications /

Experience:

  • Level 4 Diploma in Financial Planning
  • Good understanding of pension and investment products.
  • Previous experience of proactively managing a pipeline.
  • Previous experience of dealing with adviser and providers.

Knowledge:

  • Knowledge of Pensions & Investment products, including Safeguarded Benefits, SIPPs, and Pension Crystallisation.
  • Good understanding of Financial Conduct Authority requirements for pension and investment transfers.
  • Awareness of Financial Conduct Authority, Treating Customers Fairly principles and general advice process.
  • Familiar with Openwork adviser and network and/or other networks.
  • Understanding of how to use MS Office, particular Word and Excel.
