Management Accountant

We're working with a market-leading organisation based near Cardiff that's looking to bring on a dynamic Management Accountant for a 12-16 month fixed-term contract. This is a high-impact role suited to someone who enjoys combining strong financial insight with advanced data and systems capability.

The Role
You'll play a key role in delivering robust management information, supporting decision-making across the business, and driving improvements in reporting and analysis. This is a hands-on position with real visibility and influence.

Key Responsibilities

• Produce accurate and insightful monthly management accounts

• Deliver variance analysis, forecasting and budgeting support

• Develop and maintain dashboards and reports using Power BI

• Use SQL to extract, manipulate and analyse large data sets

• Partner with stakeholders to translate financial data into clear commercial insight

• Support process improvements and automation within finance reporting

About You

• Qualified or part-qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA or equivalent)

• Proven experience in a management accounting role

• Strong Power BI and SQL skills (essential)

• Confident working with large, complex data sets

• Commercially minded, proactive and comfortable challenging assumptions

• Able to hit the ground running in a fast-paced environment
