Personal Tax Manager

A step up for an ambitious Personal Tax professional This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Personal Tax professional who wants to move into a role offering greater responsibility, exposure to complex work and clear long-term progression. Joining a well-established and growing accountancy practice, youll take ownership of a varied personal tax portfolio while working closely with senior tax leaders.

The opportunity Youll be trusted to manage your own client relationships while playing a key role in advisory work and supporting junior colleagues. The client base is varied and technically interesting, making this an ideal role for someone ready to step confidently into a manager-level position.

Key responsibilities include:

Managing a portfolio of personal tax clients, overseeing compliance and advisory matters Preparing and reviewing complex personal, partnership and trust tax returns Identifying tax planning opportunities and supporting clients with implementation Acting as a main point of contact for clients, building trusted relationships Reviewing work prepared by junior team members and supporting their development Assisting with HMRC enquiries and compliance checks Working collaboratively with colleagues on ad-hoc advisory projects What were looking for CTA qualified (or equivalent) 2 years post-qualification experience in personal tax Experience gained within a UK personal tax practice Strong technical knowledge and a commercial, client-focused approach Confident communicator who enjoys client-facing work Experience reviewing work and mentoring junior staff Whats on offer Salary up to £65,000 , depending on experience Bonus available Hybrid working after probation Supportive environment with genuine scope for progression
