Within our manufacturing facility in Northern Ireland, Leprino is seeking a Management Accountant to support site performance through accurate reporting, thoughtful analysis, and strong partnership with operational leaders.
What You’ll Do:- Partner closely with site leaders to provide clear financial insight that supports operational and strategic decisions.
- Analyse operational and business data to explain performance, trends, and improvement opportunities.
- Prepare accurate weekly reporting, KPIs, and site metrics in collaboration with the Site Financial Controller.
- Maintain standard costing in SAP, including bills of material, material updates, and quarterly cost reviews.
- Run month-end product costing, including overhead allocations to produce full and reliable cost information.
- Coordinate weekly and month-end reporting, including sales, contribution, and variance analysis.
- Support forecasting and budgeting activities, with a strong focus on material costs and key overheads.
- Track and analyse overhead spend, producing flexed reports that explain variances from expectations.
- Complete monthly stock reconciliation and analysis in partnership with the site stores manager.
- Identify and progress improvement opportunities within finance processes and site reporting.
- Develop and apply standard work that supports consistent, organised, and repeatable finance activities.
- Deputise for the Site Financial Controller when required, including presenting monthly performance at site reviews.
- Act as the SAP finance point of contact for the site, supporting users and data accuracy.
- Work collaboratively with Finance, Operations, IT, Purchasing, and departmental managers to support site objectives.
- Support a proactive approach to safety, environmental awareness, and responsible care within the finance team!
- Part-qualified or fully qualified accountant (for example CIMA or ACCA).
- Two or more years of experience in a senior finance or management accounting role.
- Hands‑on experience using SAP or a comparable ERP system.
- Strong working knowledge of standard costing and product costing within an ERP environment.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel for analysis, reporting, and modelling.
Experience preparing and presenting financial information to senior management teams.
- Fully qualified accountant (for example CIMA or ACCA).
- Experience working in a manufacturing or site-based environment.
- Experience improving finance processes, reporting, or costing methodologies.
- Strong familiarity with SAP in a manufacturing or operational setting.
