Management Accountant

Dereham Salary: £40.8k plus Bonus

Full time We are seeking a pro-active management accountant to join a forward thinking team in a fast paced environment. This role is more than just management accounts its working closely with stakeholders in the group to help drive and support decision making. The ideal candidate will have experience within management accounts, possess exceptional communication skills, a strong attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively to deadlines.

Key Responsibilities:

Working as part of a team of 6 accountants, reporting into the Finance Director. Main Core area is preparation of management accounts:
The team have 57 sets of management accounts to prepare Management accounts prepared on a 4 weekly basis (13 periods for the year) Management accounts to include variance analysis and KPIs Management accounts need to be prepared accurately and on a timely basis Will need to liaise with business owners and deal with queries on management accounts Carry out weekly uploads from payroll system to accounts system Prepare weekly reports for Finance Director Assisting with the preparation of budgets and forecasts Intercompany balance reconciliations Process inter-company recharges Assisting in preparation of year end audit files for the group Dealing and assisting the auditors Working closely with other members of the accounts team (purchase ledger, payroll, credit control).

Qualifications:

Prior experience within a management accounts role. A minimum of AAT qualified would be preferable Exceptional organisation and time-management skills, with an ability to work to deadlines. Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. High level of professionalism and confidentiality. Working knowledge of SAP Business 1 would be beneficial
