Samlesbury and Warton

• Attend training at the Academy for Skills and Knowledge in Samlesbury.
• Receive conventional and theoretical engineering training.
• Build foundational knowledge for placement integration.

• Complete office‑based placements utilizing computer‑based tools; interact with customers, suppliers, and aircraft.
• Continue academic studies, including an HNC in Aeronautical Engineering (college, one day a week).
• Finish six placements within the Air business.
• Gain experience in design, systems, in‑service support, flight test, mission systems, integration, and aircraft lifecycle.

• Level 3 Apprenticeship as a Support Technician.
• Level 3 Diploma in Manufacturing Systems Technology.
• Opportunity to pursue accreditation with professional engineering institutions such as the Royal Aeronautical Society or Institute of Engineering and Technology.
