Workshop Technician

Meeting client and business requirements through accurate assessment and efficient repairs of accident damage dispensers

Key Responsibilities
:

• Assessment of accident damage dispensers
• Stock ordering including sourcing parts / part numbers
• Loading hauliers vehicles with delivery dispensers
• Taking delivery of dispensers from Dundee Manufacturing Centre
• Prioritising workload & meeting deadlines as dictated by client and business requirements
• Demonstrate safe working practices at all times, adhering to H&S legislation and company H&S rules and procedures

General workshop duties and admin including completing job sheets, updating systems, allocating stock etc.

• Any other duties as deemed appropriate by Management

As per Health and Safety at Work Act 1974, Employee's must also

• Take care of their own health and safety and that of others.
• Co-operate with their employers.
• Not interfere with anything provided in the interest of health and safety.

Skills & Abilities Required (Essential):

• HNC/HND in relevant Engineering discipline or relevant experience
• Keen interest in Hydraulic/Electronic Fault finding
• The ability to deal professionally with customer's
• Ability to work as part of a small team or alone
• Flexible approach to work and ability to prioritise workload
• Technical awareness
• Full UK driving licence

Experience working in a workshop environment

Education
:

• HNC/HND in relevant Engineering discipline or relevant experience

Hours of Work 37.5 hrs per week
