Responsibilities- Coordinate all site activities and ensure works are constructed in accordance with drawings, specifications and the construction phase plan.
- Ensure plant, equipment, documentation, permits and drawings are organised and available for the site team to commence work.
- Coordinate activities in line with the project programme, maintaining the highest safety standards.
- Set teams to work and be responsible for design accuracy and delivery of individual projects within time, cost and quality constraints.
- Execute and ensure compliance with the safety plan, environmental management plan and quality plan (responsible for final records).
- Manage site installation to the agreed target cost and service delivery objectives while maintaining safety standards and adhering to company values.
- Strong strategic thinking and ability to engage and communicate with a wide range of stakeholders, including client teams, designers and direct reports.
- Full‑time on site in Navenby.
- Experience working in a similar role, preferably on an Energy project.
- Experience of working on a variety of National Grid projects is highly desirable.
- Current driving licence.
- Track record of project delivery.
- Proven collaborative management experience leading and delivering large‑scale projects of work, including water infrastructure or large‑scale linear projects.
- Experience leading multi‑contractor and multi‑disciplined teams.
- Ability to review information, consult with relevant persons and organisations, and make agile decisions.
- Ability to outperform against a tight budget through effective programme development, risk and opportunity management and use of production and innovation.
- Experience in stakeholder management; including customers, client, site operators, landowners and utility companies.
