A well-established food production company in Wrexham is seeking an experienced Site Services Engineer to manage site-wide maintenance activities and ensure full compliance with hygiene, food safety, and operational standards. This is a key position within the engineering function, supporting production by maintaining critical site services and driving continuous improvement initiatives.

• Manage and maintain all site services and facilities to support production operations
• Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and health & safety standards
• Carry out planned preventative maintenance and respond to site service breakdowns
• Maintain and support utilities and infrastructure including steam, air, water, refrigeration, and waste systems
• Support audits and inspections, ensuring documentation and compliance standards are met
• Lead and support continuous improvement initiatives to improve reliability and efficiency
• Manage contractors and external service providers as required
• Support operational teams to minimise downtime and ensure site performance

• Strong engineering background (mechanical, electrical, or multi-skilled)
• Experience in site services or facilities maintenance, ideally within food or FMCG manufacturing
• Good knowledge of food safety standards, hygiene regulations, and compliance requirements
• Proven fault-finding and maintenance capability
• Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively
• Relevant engineering qualifications (apprenticeship, NVQ, HNC, or equivalent)

• Salary of £45,000
• Day-based role:
  Monday to Friday, 07:00 – 16:00
