Shift: 37.5 hours/Week 6am-2pm / 2pm-10pm / 6am
Location: Berkshire
Commute: Newbury, Woolhampton, Reading, Theale, Mortimer, Hungerford, Didcot
Salary: £50,000 + Overtime paid up to 2× normal rate

Our client is a leading packaging manufacturer, part of a larger national group, with a reputation for product quality which is second to none and industry‑leading standards. Due to a recent investment, they are looking to bring on board additional electrical maintenance engineers into their team.

• Electrical & mechanical maintenance, PPM's, and repairs
• Working on a variety of high‑speed production & packaging machinery, conveyors, automation & controls and plant machinery
• Dealing with PLCs, AC invertors, Servo Drive systems, DC drives
• Work to PM schedule, monitor machine performance (OEE), downtime and analyse for performance improvement
• Coach and support operators to develop their skills
• Utilise software (Maximo) to record reactive and preventative maintenance

• Must be an electrically biased maintenance engineer or electrical engineer
• Have worked in a fast‑paced engineering environment
• Be comfortable with working on mechanical or electrical problems / faults
• Ideally have some mechanical experience
• Have an HND qualification; 18th Edition would be desirable
• Strong team player with a positive, hardworking, willingness to learn attitude
